/Borussia Academy Singapore Participates & Wins in First International Tournament at Johor Cup, Malaysia
From 17-18th August 2024 our teams participated in their first international tournament at the prestigious Johor Cup in Malaysia. Held at the scenic Marlborough College, the event provided a thrilling and unforgettable experience for both our young players and their supportive families.
Three of our teams, representing the B8, B10, and B12 age groups, took to the field proudly flying the flag for Borussia Academy Singapore. This tournament was not just about the competition but also an opportunity to showcase the values and spirit of Borussia Moenchengladbach and the Bundesliga, which our academy proudly embodies.
Our teams relentlessly fought throughout the tournament, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements:
B8 Team: Finished 4th place in the Plate competition, showing immense potential and resilience.
B10 Team: Crowned Plate Champions, their hard work and teamwork paid off as they brought home the trophy.
B12 Team: Secured 3rd place in the Shield competition, demonstrating perseverance against tough opponents.
This tournament served as an excellent pre-season preparation for our teams and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their unwavering support and to our dedicated coaches for their guidance.
As we look ahead, we are excited about what the future holds for our young talents.
