Borussia B17 Team Division Champions!

As the whistle blew this last Sunday, our B17 team made Borussia Academy Singapore history — SYL Division Champions!

This victory is more than just a title. It’s a celebration of growth, resilience, and loyalty — values that define what it means to be part of Borussia. Many of the players in this squad have been with us for years, growing up through our academy, developing not only as athletes but as young men who understand teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

We all know that as players get older, life gets busier. School demands increase, friendships and new interests take centre stage, and priorities shift. Competitive sport often becomes harder to fit in — yet this team stayed committed. Week after week, they trained, competed, and supported one another through challenges big and small.

That’s the magic of football. It’s more than a game — it’s a space where young people can challenge themselves, learn to work together across different backgrounds, and experience the unique joy of achieving something as a team.

A special thank you goes to Coach Afif, whose leadership, patience, and passion have been instrumental in guiding the team to success. And of course, to our parents — thank you for being there every weekend, cheering from the sidelines, and supporting your children’s football journeys (including the all-important academy fees!).

This championship marks a milestone for our B17s, but also for the entire Borussia family. It reminds us that football isn’t just about winning matches — it’s about staying true to your goals, showing up for your teammates, and growing together, year after year.
